Light Bearers Conference ignites purpose-driven leadership across industries

IHTIL Coaching Services has successfully hosted its annual career conference, Light Bearers – Built to Shine, Called to Influence, a transformative gathering designed to equip professionals, creatives, and leaders to operate with clarity, competence, and Kingdom values across their industries.

Held in Lagos, the conference brought together industry leaders, faith-driven professionals, creatives, and emerging talents for a full day of insightful teachings, strategic conversations, worship, and purposeful networking.

The central theme, Light Bearers – Built to Shine, Called to Influence, emphasized the responsibility of believers and professionals to carry light into workplaces, boardrooms, creative spaces, and communities.

The conference was convened by Ginika Obinna-Okorie, Founder and Lead Coach of IHTIL Coaching Services, whose vision for the Light Bearers Conference is rooted in equipping professionals to intentionally integrate faith, excellence, and leadership in every sphere of influence.

In her charge to participants, Obinna-Okorie encouraged attendees to see their careers not merely as jobs, but as platforms for illumination and impact.

The Word sessions were led by Pastor Hezekiah Usim, Lead Pastor of RCCG House of Praise Las Vegas, who served as Guest Minister.

His prophetic and foundational teachings centered on spiritual identity, responsibility, and influence, setting a strong spiritual framework for the conference.

The keynote address was delivered by Rotanna Onyedi, Leadership Consultant and Organizational Development Expert, who provided strategic insights on professional capital, leadership development, and influence within today’s economic and organizational systems.

Marketplace and leadership sessions were facilitated by Mark Akpaibor, Business Leader and Strategy Consultant, who spoke on boardroom influence, visibility, and value creation, and Eke Ewang, Career Coach and Workplace Strategist, who addressed career growth, adaptability, and leadership in an age of disruption.

The conference also welcomed renowned music executive and founder of Coded Tunes, ID Cabasa, who served as Creative Impact Leader. He shared practical insights on creativity, innovation, excellence, and sustaining cultural influence within the evolving creative economy.

A highly engaging panel session, moderated by Obiageri Ohanmuo, bridged faith and real-world application, sparking thoughtful conversations around career growth, leadership responsibility, and practical expressions of Kingdom values in the workplace.

The worship experience was led by Obinna Victor Okorie, whose ministrations created a reverent atmosphere for reflection, spiritual alignment, and renewal throughout the event.

The conference was expertly anchored by communications professional Florence Idowu-Olushesan, who served as compere, guiding the flow of proceedings with warmth and professionalism.

The gathering was hosted under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Jedafe, who provided spiritual covering and leadership support for the conference.
