Governor Umo Eno has altered the visions from their altars, eliminated the manipulations of their temples, and confounded the expectations of unbelievers and skeptics who foresee his administration as a failure waiting to happen.

These people meandered around his persona, attempting to conduct a predictive analysis of his capacities and sources of his inspiration.

However, they found themselves perplexed by the results, as what they had once expected turned out to be the opposite

They emerged from their thoughts, shaken and bewildered, much like a warthog playing with a lion as if it were a mere toy.

Their minds had witnessed the unthinkable, yet they remained silent, fearing ridicule from those to whom they had once misled.

His administration performance, despite many obstacles, has become a catalog of proficient antecedents.

The output has become essential evidence that democratic leadership can thrive amidst the central government’s misgivings and wrong policies, which have dragged the nation and its populations into penury.

He has continually broken new ground, decried and exterminated mismanagement of public funding, cut down on wastage, and reduced government involvement in worthless spending while allocating resources only to projects that have a direct impact on the people’s welfare.

The Governor has democratized leadership, smashed down the elitist gap, and empowered the people to become drivers of governance while placing greater emphasis on improving the living standards of the poorest in Akwa Ibom State.

His style of governance has caused many to quit the ancient professions of crystal-gazer, spanwise seer, soothsayer, sibyl, clairvoyant, and palm reader because what they forecast is not in line with the results they are overwhelmingly witnessing.

The Governor of Akwa Ibom State has narrowed down fraudulent budgeting activities and focused on realistic projections of expenditure while skillfully augmenting avenues for increased income generation.

Many leftists who opposed his emergence are now driving on the right path. Those who were indifferent have today formed an alliance behind the wheel of progress that Governor Umo Eno has brought to the state in just 16 months.

Those who sang on the grave of the dead and ridiculed him, questioning his educational foundation, have now seen the results that have led them to delete their songs of insults against him.

When they see that, in just a year, IbomAir is expanding with four brand-new aircraft and that over 250 km of roads and 7 bridges have been completed in just one year.

And that retirees who were crying in agony from abandonment have now received over N35 billion in gratuities; hopeless widows, orphans, and the poorest have become proud owners of over 150 two-bedroom bungalows with access to potable water powered by solar energy.

Apart from the new homes, the beneficiaries received half a million Naira to commence investments and become self-dependent.

Governor Umo Eno has become a reference point in Nigeria because of his efforts in stimulating investment in real estate. An 18-story building, which will feature 32 state-of-the-art apartments, is currently underway in Lagos.

Similarly, the Akwa Ibom State Government is constructing a dual five-star hotel in Abuja to increase its internally generated revenue and position the state at the heart of the tourism sector.

Those who questioned his ability to govern a state as economically significant as Akwa Ibom are now surprised to see how his educational policies have resulted in the establishment of impressive public model schools across the state, making public education more conducive to learning.

The turnaround also astonished these individuals in the primary health sector across all political wards in the state.

Yes! Sleep has become elusive for those who once mocked those who voted him into power. As a visionary leader, he has effectively utilized state resources by opening more rural roads, constructing rural markets, and encouraging agricultural expansion and commercialization throughout the state.

Governor Umo Eno has invested N47.93 billion into thirty-six (36) of the inherited FGPC projects and N4.04 billion into fifty-one (51) emergency intervention projects from the previous administration. In total, N51.96 billion has been allocated in this area.

His administration has allocated N151.66 billion to support fifty (50) road projects under the FGPC ARISE Agenda, and an additional N4.54 billion has been invested in eleven (11) emergency intervention road projects within the same agenda.

Overall, N156.20 billion has been utilized for the ARISE Agenda road projects, and as of October 18, 2024, this administration has invested a total of N208.16 billion in both initiated and inherited road projects.

To invigorate the middle class and stimulate entrepreneurial activities, it is widely recognized that entrepreneurs serve as the driving force behind economic growth across all economies. They act as the engine room that propels the economy forward.

In order to enhance the internally generated revenue, Governor Umo Eno has articulated a vision to cultivate a vibrant local economy, positioning enterprises as the cornerstone of his strategic focus.

Over the past sixteen months, the Governor has empowered over 5000 entrepreneurs by providing financial support in the form of grants ranging from two hundred fifty thousand to one million Naira.

These funds are intended to facilitate the initiation or expansion of their business ventures. This financial assistance is complemented by a comprehensive training and retraining program that equips these entrepreneurs with a diverse array of skills pertinent to various trades and industries.

Furthermore, the Governor has made available grants to traders, small-scale industrialists, and farmers, enabling them to expand their enterprises and contribute more robustly to the local economy.

In response to the severe hardship faced by many, the Government of Akwa Ibom State has initiated a direct food distribution program aimed at the poorest segments of the population.

This initiative, executed through a bulk purchasing agency, occurs every two months and seeks to alleviate the suffering that has been exacerbated by unfavorable policies implemented by the APC Federal Government.

Governor Umo Eno has raised the standards of governance, exceeding the expectations of many citizens. He has achieved this without compromising on prudent financial management, instead adhering to transparent and accountable policy frameworks.

It is no surprise that many who once criticized him have since become fervent supporters of his leadership, celebrating him as a paragon of good governance and a hero in the eyes of the public.
