Umo Eno’s administration, modest, most transparent

Governor Umo Eno has fostered transparency in the government by establishing an inclusive administration that consistently engages in dialogue with the public, ensuring open operations and facilitating access to information regarding its policies, decisions, and actions.

Those questioning the transparency of Governor Umo Umo’s financial spending need not worry, as Umo Eno is not only a wise leader but also a leader guided by moral principles.

He has not taken on the mantle of power to engage in corruption but to develop a progressive State where future leadership will be self-dependent and self-sustainable.

In due course, the State will provide a comprehensive forensic audit report that is free from any form of corrupt manipulation, offering an expenditure statement supported by irrefutable evidence.

Governor Umo Eno is a leader who has embraced simplicity in governance, prioritizing cost-cutting measures to allocate more funds towards state development and the welfare of the people.

After one year in office, the Governor has abstained from acquiring new official vehicles for himself, his spouse, and other government officials.

Furthermore, he has converted what was intended for his personal use into a revenue-generating asset as commercialized the state’s private jet to generate profits for the State.

The Government led by Governor Umo Eno is not only known for its transparency but also for its commitment to fiscal responsibility by avoiding unnecessary financial waste and overspending on irrelevant projects.

He has allocated well over 22 billion Naira towards settling gratuities for retired civil servants, a level no previous administrations has reached .

Moreover, under the leadership of Governor Umo Eno, a financial plan has been established within the Ministry of Finance that aims to eliminate all outstanding financial obligations to retired civil servants in the coming months.

It is important to mention that many contractors have finished their projects, had them commissioned, but were not fully compensated by the previous administration. Governor Umo Eno is rectifying this by ensuring these contractors are paid.

Governor Umo Eno’s administration is diligently addressing these debts to alleviate the state’s domestic debt burden, a fact that may not be widely known to those conducting audits of the government’s financial activities on newspapers and radio stations

For any inflectional leader, going through a crisis is a rite of passage. After all, it’s easy to be a good manager when everything is going well, but your ability as a leader is truly tested when there is a true crisis.

Akwa Ibom citizens and residents can take pride in having a leader who is exceptionally cautious in managing resources.

Since the beginning of his administration, Umo Eno has refrained from obtaining any loans, whether domestic or international, to fund the state’s operations.

Instead, he is focused on servicing existing loans and significantly reducing them, thereby providing the state with the opportunity to utilize incoming finances solely for developmental progress.

In this current period of economic challenges where many states and the federal government are taking out loans to stay afloat, Governor Umo Eno stands out by effectively managing the State without resorting to borrowing.

Under his leadership, the State operates without any outstanding salary payments and witnesses significant infrastructural development projects.

Governor Umo Eno is allocating substantial funds to support the growth of local entrepreneurs, aiming to boost the domestic economy, increase internal revenue generation, and create more local employment opportunities for the underprivileged.

Pastor UMO ENO is a leader at a time when Nigeria and Nigerians are going through the worst period of hardship, where starvation knocks on every door, and he is working to change the situation.

He is constructing homes for underprivileged individuals along with providing financial support, while the Governor is also distributing food to the neediest residents at least twice a month. This initiative benefits 3,363 villages in Akwa Ibom State.

He is planing for a better future and initiating programmes that provide an intentional solution to ease these food crises and the untold hardship

And so many people who are sick because of the excruciating hardship, the Governor is carrying out free medical services across the three Senatorial District.

Governor Umo Eno is aware that a healthy population promotes a wealthy economy.

It doesn’t make sense to share tales of a brighter tomorrow with individuals who are hungry, sick, and homeless. Those scrutinizing the State’s finances through the media should carefully assess the situation before levying any accusations against the Government.

Governor Umo Eno maintains a transparent administration that upholds policies ensuring access to government information.

He personally and regularly briefs the media, allowing them to ask questions and obtain details about government activities and expenditures.

Moreover, Governor Umo Eno conducts open meetings where stakeholders and the public can participate and witness decision-making processes. He consistently shares his progress with the public.

Governor Umo Eno actively engages the public in decision-making through consultations, feedback mechanisms, and various forms of involvement, guaranteeing that citizens have a say in governmental decisions.

His administration upholds high ethical standards and holds public officials accountable for their actions.

Assessing Umo Eno’s government based on these characteristics allows you to gauge the level of transparency and accountability to the citizens.

Examining his accountability and transparency based on rumours and unofficial financial statements is an attempt to incriminate him and his government falsely.

And it is a decoy to blackmail his administration and to run down his acceptance and popularity before the public.
