Umahi urges South East to support Federal Government for more democracy dividends

Works Minister, Sen. Engr. Nweze David Umahi, has urged the South East region to continue supporting the Federal Government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to reap more democracy dividends.
Umahi made this call during a yuletide visit by the Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum to his country home in Uburu, Ebonyi State.
He also commended the inclusive leadership of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State.
According to the Special Adviser ( Media) to the Honourable Minister of Works, Hon. Barr. Orji Uchenna Orji, the Minister assured the people of the South East that 2025 would mark a significant turning point in the federal government’s efforts to tackle security challenges in the region.
He emphasized the importance of supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying that the South East had benefited from unprecedented democracy dividends under the Renewed Hope administration.
Umahi praised Governor Nwifuru’s leadership, which he said had deepened peace and tranquility in Ebonyi State.
He urged the youths of the state to continue championing the cause of peace, fair play, equity, and good conscience.
The President-General of Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum, Dr. Andrew Chibueze Elom, thanked Umahi for his support in making an Izzi son the Governor of Ebonyi State.
Umahi assured the people of Izzi that he would continue to preach equity, fairness, and justice in Ebonyi State.
