‘Tinubu will remain until 2031’ — Bishop Osazuwa issues prophetic declaration

Prominent Christian cleric, Bishop Desmond Osazuwa Amasihohu, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will secure victory in the 2027 presidential election and complete a second term in office ending in 2031.

The declaration was contained in a statement titled, “President Tinubu 2027 — He will be there till 2031. No other person going there,” in which the bishop described his message as a divine revelation rather than a political opinion.

According to Bishop Osazuwa, his declaration was made in his capacity as a spiritual watchman.

“My people, hear me well. I am not speaking as a politician. I am speaking as a watchman. And the Spirit of the Lord is saying concerning Nigeria: ‘I have set my seal upon this season,'” he stated.

The cleric further declared that President Tinubu would emerge victorious in the next presidential election and remain in office until the completion of a second constitutional term.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election. He will complete his second term and he will be there till 2031. No other person is going there. This is not wishful thinking. This is not party talk. This is the hard Truth,” he said.

To support his declaration, Bishop Osazuwa cited biblical passages including Daniel 4:17, which states that God rules over the kingdoms of men and gives authority to whomever He chooses, as well as Psalm 75:6-7, emphasizing that promotion comes from God alone.

Explaining the basis of his prophecy, the bishop outlined what he described as three divine reasons why President Tinubu would remain in office beyond 2027.

The first, according to him, is that the current administration’s mandate must be completed.

He argued that the reforms initiated since 2023 were designed to extend beyond a single four-year term.

“The reforms that started in 2023 were not meant for four years alone. Foundations are being laid now for what Nigeria will eat from for the next 20 years. God does not start a building and abandon it halfway,” he stated,
referencing Philippians 1:6.

Secondly, he spoke of what he termed “Divine Positioning,” saying Nigeria requires political stability to sustain economic reforms, attract investments, improve security and complete ongoing national projects.

According to him, changing leadership midway would interrupt the country’s developmental trajectory.

“God will not hand over a half-built house to another tenant in 2027. The man with the blueprint will finish the work,” he declared.

The third reason, he said, is that public opinion would eventually align with what he described as God’s purpose.
He predicted that by 2027, Nigerians would begin to experience the benefits of current economic policies.

“The pains of today will turn to testimonies. And a grateful nation will say, ‘Let him finish the job,'” Bishop Osazuwa said, while citing Ecclesiastes 3:1 on God’s appointed times and seasons.

The cleric also presented what he described as a prophetic timeline for Nigeria’s future.

According to him, the period between 2025 and 2027 will witness consolidation of ongoing reforms, greater economic stability and accelerated infrastructure development.

He further predicted that the years 2027 to 2031 would usher in what he described as a harvest season during which the country’s present sacrifices would translate into jobs, prosperity and sustained national development.

Bishop Osazuwa also expressed confidence that opposition political alliances would not prevent President Tinubu’s re-election.

He declared that every coalition and political gang-up would ultimately fail because, in his words, God’s counsel would prevail.

He cited Proverbs 19:21, which says that although many plans exist in a person’s heart, it is the purpose of the Lord that shall stand.

The bishop urged Nigerians, particularly Christians, to support the nation’s leadership through prayer rather than criticism.

Referring to 1 Timothy 2:1-2, he encouraged believers to pray for those in authority, saying such intercession would promote peace and national stability.

He also advised citizens to prepare themselves spiritually and economically for what he believes will be six more years of national transformation under President Tinubu’s leadership.

In addition, Bishop Osazuwa called on Nigerians to remain vigilant in prayer, warning that attempts could be made to create confusion and instability, but expressing confidence that peace would prevail across the country.

The statement concluded with a prayer asking God to strengthen President Tinubu with wisdom, health and grace to complete what the bishop described as his divine assignment, while praying for peace, progress and prosperity for Nigeria.

He ended with a final declaration urging Nigerians to remember his prophecy.
