Tinubu, Kalu, Yilwatda, Faleke listed for TPA 2027 mobilisation event

Tinubu Progressive Advocates (TPA) has announced plans to mobilise Nigerians across the country in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for re-election in the 2027 presidential election.

The group disclosed this at an International World Press Conference held in Lagos on Monday, ahead of the formal unveiling of its national organisation and leadership structure in Abuja.

The Abuja event, scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, is expected to provide a platform for the organisation to present its structure, objectives and programmes, with support for Tinubu’s re-election forming a central part of its advocacy.

The programme is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, under the theme, “Inspiring Greatness.”

According to the organisers, the TPA is being positioned as a grassroots advocacy platform through which members and supporters will promote the Tinubu administration’s policies and programmes while mobilising public support for his return to office in 2027.

The group’s Director of Media and Communications, Mazi Sidney Nwachukwu, said the organisation’s advocacy would focus on communicating what it described as the administration’s development agenda, policies and programmes, while encouraging Nigerians to participate actively in the democratic process.

President Tinubu is listed as the Special Guest of Honour at the event.

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, is expected to attend as Guest of Honour, while the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, is scheduled to deliver the keynote address.

Also expected at the event is Hon. James Faleke, listed as Chairman of the Occasion.

The organisers listed the Deputy Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Idi Barde Gubana, as National Leader of the TPA, while Amb. Lion Moses Ebahor, the organisation’s National Coordinator, is expected to serve as Chief Host.

The organisers said the Abuja gathering would go beyond the formal unveiling of the TPA, as it would also feature the presentation of its national leadership structure, programmes and advocacy strategy ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group said the occasion would provide an opportunity to rally its members, political stakeholders, supporters and other Nigerians around its objective of supporting Tinubu’s re-election.

The development comes amid preparations by the APC and other political actors for the 2027 general elections.

The TPA said its Abuja unveiling would mark the beginning of a wider advocacy and mobilisation campaign aimed at taking its message to Nigerians across the country.

The organisers also disclosed that the unveiling of customised footballs would form part of the activities lined up for the ceremony.

Political stakeholders, members of the organisation, supporters and other guests are expected to attend the event.
