Rivers Police urge lady to come forward as investigation into alleged assault begins

Rivers State Police Command has issued a statement responding to allegations of police assault on a lady along Evo Road in Port Harcourt.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Rivers State Command, SP Grace Iringe -Koko, the command acknowledges the report circulating on social media and urges the lady involved to visit the Police Headquarters to facilitate a thorough investigation.
The investigation aimed to identify the officers involved and take appropriate actions.
The command also appealed to the public to cooperate with police officers during stop-and-search operations, emphasizing their importance in combating crime and maintaining security.
