Reconciliation, unity: AKISCOM President extends olive branch to aggrieved members ahead of governor’s visit

In a bid to heal internal rifts and foster unity, the President of the Akwa Ibom State Community (AKISCOM), Chief Edet Ambang, has extended a warm welcome to aggrieved members who have been outside the fold.

The gesture comes as the organization prepares to host the State Governor in Lagos, signaling a renewed focus on cooperation and progress.

The association has made notable strides under his leadership, including members’ welfare initiatives, business support, and financial assistance to various wings.

Despite these achievements, some members have remained aggrieved due to disputes over the last election, which led to a court injunction later turned against them.
