Ihedigbo, who received an award in recognition of his service as Assistant General Secretary, described the honour as a significant milestone, noting that it was the first time he had received such an award from any group.

He expressed appreciation to the President of the fellowship, Sir Sheyi Otegbade; the Coordinator, Very Rev. Toyin Ogundeyi; Bishop of the Diocese, Rt. Rev. Job Gboyega Ohu and other executive members for considering him worthy of the recognition.

In his appreciation message, Ihedigbo prayed that God would reward the leadership for acknowledging his contributions and continue to strengthen them for greater service in the Church.

He dedicated the award to Evangelist Bassey Anietie, former President of the Diocesan Men’s Fellowship, whom he credited with giving him the opportunity to serve in the group.

Recounting his journey in the fellowship, Ihedigbo recalled that he attended his first Diocesan Men’s Fellowship general meeting with his Cricut Fellowship President, Bro. Chijiuba Ishionwu, at the Diocesan Headquarters, where he was nominated as Assistant Secretary.

He expressed gratitude to God for the grace and opportunity to serve, describing the experience as an important part of his journey in the fellowship and Christian ministry.

According to him, the award represents more than a personal achievement, as it also underscores the importance of commitment, selfless service, dedication and brotherhood in God’s vineyard.

The Publisher of The Mirror Newspaper reaffirmed his appreciation to everyone, includes his Presbyter, who has been supporting and encouraging him throughout his service in the fellowship.

He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the leadership and members, expressing hope that the recognition would inspire greater commitment to the growth of the Men’s Fellowship and the wider mission of the Methodist Church Nigeria.
