Ondo aircraft crash: Jani Ibrahim expresses solidarity with Tinubu, Armed Forces

Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), the Organised Private Sector of Nigeria (OPSN) and the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FEWACCI) have expressed condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the families of those who lost their lives in the reported Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft crash in Ondo State.
The organisations described the incident, reportedly involving 32 fatalities, as a painful national loss, extending their sympathies to the bereaved families, the Nigerian Air Force and others affected by the tragedy.
Their condolences were conveyed by Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, National President of NACCIMA and President of OPSN and FEWACCI.
Ibrahim expressed sympathy with President Tinubu, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and the military community over the reported crash near Igbokoda, Ondo State, on Monday, October 5, 2026.
“We stand with Mr President and the Armed Forces at this difficult time. Our deepest sympathies are with the bereaved families, the Chief of Air Staff and personnel of the Nigerian Air Force, and all others affected by the tragedy,” he said.
He prayed that Almighty God would grant the bereaved families the strength and comfort to endure the loss, adding that the departed should rest in peace.
The NACCIMA, OPSN and FEWACCI leadership also commended the first responders and other personnel involved in the response to the incident.
Ibrahim reaffirmed the organisations’ solidarity with the President, the Armed Forces and the nation during the period of mourning.
“We remain united in grief with Mr President, the Armed Forces, and the nation,” he stated.
The organisations extended their condolences to all those affected, expressing hope that the bereaved families would find comfort and strength during this difficult period.
