Ogah’s legacy project: Gov. Otti commissions radio station, hospital, hotel

Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, has commissioned three major projects in Onu Aku, Uturu, built by the founder and President of Masters Energy Group, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah.

The projects include Masters 105.9 FM, The Wilsons Hotels and Resorts, and Wilson and Paulina Memorial Hospital.

According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Governor of Abia State, Mr. Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, Otti commended Dr. Ogah for creating jobs and bringing development to his community.

The commissioning was part of the activities to celebrate the life and times of Dr. Ogah’s late mother, Ezinne Paulina Ogbonne Ogah, who is also the Mother of the Member representing Isiukwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Hon. Amobi Ogah.

Governor Otti commended Dr. Uche for bringing part of his business home and creating jobs for his people.

Speaking earlier during the church service, Governor Otti said that listening to the tributes and the things that have been said about the Late Matriarch of the Ogah’s family clearly showed that “she came, saw, and conquered.”

He told the Ogah family not to mourn like unbelievers, saying that what is important is for the living to emulate her good legacies.

Former Rivers State Governor and the immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, whom Governor Otti yielded the commissioning of the Radio Station, commended Dr. Ogah for siting the project in his community, thereby creating jobs for his people and bringing development as well.

From Onu Aku Community, Uturu, Governor Otti, and his entourage headed to Leru Umuchieze Secondary School Field in Umunneochi Local Government Area where he attended a Civic Reception organized by the Leru Patriotic Development Union (LPDU), Umuchieze in honour of their son, CP Ifeanyi Uche, Director, Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Center (NPF-NCCC)

Governor Otti thanked and commended the people of Leru Community for remembering to celebrate their own, saying that the event will encourage him to continue to impact his people and the State at large.

He equally thanked the wife and encouraged her to keep supporting the husband.

He commended CP Uche for his impact on his community as well as the State.

Governor Otti also attended a civic reception in honour of CP Ifeanyi Uche, Director of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Center, where he commended CP Uche for his impact in the community and the state.

He encouraged him to continue in his good deeds saying that God would replenish him.

CP Uche thanked Governor Otti for honoring him with his presence at the reception and for canceling every other engagement to decorate him at Abuja when he was promoted and decorated with the Rank of Commissioner of Police.

He equally thanked the Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Mba and former Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for honouring him with their presence at the event, saying that his experience with both men along the line of duty had always been very professionallly cordial.
