No fresh case against NNPCL, says Dangote

Dangote Group has clarified that an old issue from June, filed in court on September 6, 2024, is nearing resolution.
According to a statement signed
Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, stated that following President Bola Tinubu’s Crude Oil and Refined Products Sales in Naira Initiative, approved by the Federal Executive Council, parties are in discussion.
Significant progress has been made, overtaking initial developments. No court processes have been served, and proceedings are halted. No orders have been made, and no parties are adversely affected.
In January 2025, we expect to formally withdraw the matter in court.
