Nigerian clergyman urges Trump to rethink immigration policies

President of Grace Revolution International Ministry, Nigeria, Pastor Schugger Ezenwa Onyeukwu (PhD), has called on American President Donald Trump to adjust his immigration policies, warning that they will not be favorable to the nation.

Speaking exclusively to newsmen in Lagos, Pastor Onyeukwu emphasized that America’s diversity is its unique selling point, making it a “home for all.”

He noted that Americans are not the original owners of the land they occupy, and that history shows that the forefathers of the country fought to make it great.

Pastor Onyeukwu also highlighted the importance of migrant labor in America, particularly in the agricultural sector, where many workers lack paper documents but provide cheap labor.

He warned that deporting over 10 million migrants would have severe consequences, including soaring food prices.

“It will be prudent for Trump to adjust his immigration policies,” Pastor Onyeukwu said.

“The diversity of the American nation needs to be respected, and he needs to take things easy with the foreigners in the American nation.
