NCDMB, Chelfom Engineering strengthen local capacity with training of 30 industry professionals

As part of ongoing efforts to drive Nigerian content growth in the oil and gas industry, the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and Chelfom Engineering & Construction Co. Nig. Ltd. have successfully wrapped up a five-day training programme focused on Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development (NOGICD) Act Compliance.
The training, which took place from December 15, 2025, to December 19, 2025, brought together 30 participants in Lagos.
The program aimed to equip participants with a deep understanding of the NOGICD Act and its application in the oil and gas industry.
The training covered key aspects of the Act, including compliance requirements, local content development, and regulatory frameworks.
At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates, recognizing their completion of the program. The training is part of NCDMB’s efforts to promote local content development and ensure compliance with the NOGICD Act in the oil and gas industry.
The collaboration between NCDMB and Chelfom Engineering & Construction CO NIG LTD demonstrates their commitment to capacity building and human capital development in the oil and gas sector. The training is expected to enhance the participants’ ability to contribute to the growth and development of the industry.
