Lagos youths gain generator repair skills in capacity-building programme

Dozens of youths in Lagos State have been equipped with practical technical skills as the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with Knowledge Beyond Borders Limited, concluded a five-day training programme on industrial and residential generator repairs.
The training, which took place from December 15, 2025, to December 19, 2025, aimed to equip participants with practical skills in generator repair and maintenance.
The program is part of NCDMB’s efforts to develop local talent and strengthen industry expertise, promoting economic growth and job creation.
The training is expected to enhance the employability and entrepreneurial prospects of the participants, enabling them to start their own businesses or oll employment in the industry.

At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates, marking the souccessful completion of the program. NCDMB and Knowledge Beyond Borders Limited are committed to empowering Nigerian youths with skills that can transform the nation’s economy.
The training is part of NCDMB’s broader initiative to develop skills and capacity in the country.
