NCDMB, Bestik empower Benin youths with electric meter repair skills

Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in collaboration with Bestik and Sons Nigeria has commenced a one-month training program on electric meter repairs for youths from Benin.
The training, which started today, aims to equip participants with practical skills in electric meter repairs, enhancing their employability and contribution to the energy sector.
This initiative underscores the NCDMB’s commitment to developing local capacity and capabilities in critical skills required by the industry.
By partnering with Bestik and Sons, the NCDMB is leveraging expertise to provide hands-on training that aligns with industry needs.
The training program is part of the NCDMB’s human capacity development initiatives, designed to address the skills gap in the oil and gas industry and related sectors.
Upon completion, participants are expected to possess the necessary skills to work in electric meter repair and maintenance, enhancing their chances of employment.
