Nigeria’s brightest singers, dancers, and actors now have a chance to shine internationally as Street2Fame begins its nationwide search for performers to represent the country at the 2026 World Championships of Performing Arts in Las Vegas from July 13 to 21.

The initiative, spearheaded by Street2Fame Nigeria Performing Arts Entertainment, seeks to assemble “Team Nigeria” for what is widely regarded as the global “Talent Olympics.”

The competition attracts participants from over 70 countries, showcasing skills in music, dance, acting, modeling, and other performance categories.

Leading the project is Loveth Patra, founder of Street2Fame Africa and Nigeria’s national director for WCOPA.

According to her, the programme is designed not only to identify outstanding talent but also to position Nigeria prominently on the global creative stage.

“This is more than a competition; it is a platform to empower young people and project the richness of our cultural heritage internationally,” she said.

Loveth Patra disclosed that auditions are currently open to participants across Nigeria and the diaspora through a virtual submission process.

Successful applicants will advance to a series of weekly global showcases, culminating in the final selection of representatives for Team Nigeria.

Beyond talent discovery, Street2Fame is also calling for partnerships with corporate organisations, government agencies, and cultural stakeholders to support the initiative.
