Ebie inaugurated as Deputy Director-General of Delta APC Campaign Council
Appointment comes days after inauguration as Coordinating Director IV of President Tinubu’s Campaign Council

Chairman, Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr. Chiedu Ebie, has been inaugurated as Deputy Director-General of the Delta State All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council, alongside other members of the council, in recognition of his outstanding leadership qualities, administrative competence and contributions to public service.
According to a release by his Media Aide, Jerome Utomi, the appointment further underscores the confidence reposed in Ebie by the party’s leadership, particularly, as it comes just days after his inauguration as Coordinating Director IV of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Campaign Council. This marks another significant milestone in his growing involvement in political coordination and strategic leadership at both state and national levels.
Ebie’s emergence in these important campaign structures is widely seen as a testament to his capacity to provide purposeful leadership, mobilise stakeholders and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of collective political objectives.
A distinguished public administrator and political leader, Ebie has continued to distinguish himself through his commitment to service, institutional development and the pursuit of results-oriented governance. His experience across public institutions and political structures has positioned him as a valuable asset to the APC at a critical period in the nation’s political journey.
As Chairman of the Governing Board of the NDDC, Ebie occupies a strategic position in an institution with a significant mandate to promote development across the Niger Delta region.
His leadership responsibilities require a firm understanding of public administration, stakeholder engagement, accountability and the need to translate government policies into tangible benefits for the people.
His appointment to the Delta State APC Campaign Council is therefore regarded as a recognition of the qualities required to strengthen party coordination, deepen engagement with political stakeholders and support the presentation of the party’s programmes and achievements to the electorate.
Ebie’s successive appointments also highlight his growing relevance in political and governance circles. His inclusion in both the presidential and state campaign structures reflects the value attached to experience, organisational ability and the capacity to work across different levels of political engagement.
Observers note that effective campaign leadership requires more than political visibility. It demands strategic thinking, discipline, credibility, an understanding of grassroots dynamics and the ability to unite diverse interests behind a common objective. These attributes are among the qualities associated with Ebie’s public service profile.
His record of engagement in public affairs and his experience in institutional leadership are expected to contribute to the coordination and effectiveness of the Delta APC Campaign Council as it prepares for forthcoming electoral contests.
For the APC in Delta State, Ebie’s appointment presents an opportunity to draw on his administrative experience and political relationships in strengthening the party’s campaign machinery. His role is also expected to complement the efforts of other members of the council in promoting the party’s message and mobilising support across the state.
Beyond the immediate political significance of the appointment, Ebie’s latest responsibility reinforces the importance of continuity, competence and purposeful service in public leadership. His successive assignments at the national and state levels suggest a growing expectation that he will bring his experience and commitment to bear on the responsibilities entrusted to him.
With his inauguration as Deputy Director-General of the Delta State APC Campaign Council coming shortly after his elevation within President Tinubu’s Campaign Council, Ebie has once again emerged as a prominent figure in the party’s preparations for the next electoral cycle.
For his supporters and political associates, the appointments represent a deserved recognition of a leader whose public engagements continue to attract attention and whose experience is considered valuable to the party’s ambitions in Delta State and beyond.
