CP Garba congratulates new police constables, stresses discipline, rule of law

Kano State Police Command has taken a significant step towards enhancing security in the state with the deployment of 554 newly passed Police Constables.

These fresh recruits will be distributed across all Police Divisional Offices in the state, as well as various departments for General Duty Officers and Specialists.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Kano State, SP Abdullahi Haruna, during an address at the Command’s Headquarters in Bompai Kano, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba, congratulated the newly passed out Constables on their successful training.

He emphasized the importance of discipline, hard work, and integrity in their professional conduct.

CP Dogo stated, “You are expected to be good ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and respect for human rights. You must adhere to the provisions of the Police Act 2020 and work by the rule of law.”

The CP warned the Constables that their role is to serve and protect their communities, maintaining a high level of discipline and professionalism in their interactions with the public.

He advised them to plan for their future, including their retirement, as they begin their assignments.

The deployment of the newly passed out Police Constables is part of the IGP’s vision to enhance community security and promote robust community policing in maintaining law and order across the country.
