CP Danjuma cracks down on corruption, ensures public safety in Imo

Imo State Police Command has intensified its security measures to ensure public safety during the ongoing festive season.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Imo State Police Command, ASP Okoye Henry, Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, conducted an operational assessment of key security points across the state on December 28, 2024.
CP Danjuma evaluated the performance of officers engaged in stop-and-search and traffic control duties, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the ethics of the Nigeria Police Force.
To strengthen oversight, he deployed a mobile patrol team led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the IGP X-Squad.
This team will work in synergy with other security agencies to monitor personnel conduct and prevent corrupt practices, including extortion and incivility towards the public.
CP Danjuma urged officers to maintain professionalism, respect, and courtesy in their dealings with the public, stressing that any unprofessional behavior would not be tolerated.
