Unlike the previous era of PDP as the ruling party, where federal engagement was Fruitless, joining the APC will open avenues for enhanced collaboration with the federal government, ensuring that Akwa Ibom is not sidelined but rather positioned at the forefront of Nigeria’s development agenda.

Consequently, Governor Umo Eno’s decision is expected to catalyze a new era of prosperity, marked by infrastructural modernization, increased investment inflows, and improved livelihoods for the residents of Akwa Ibom State
