Archibong backs ‘Arise with Renewed Hope’ Initiative, eyes investment drive for Akwa Ibom

Michael Olumide,
Strategy Director of Chastest Consult, Ini Archibong, has formally declared his support for the “Arise with Renewed Hope” initiative championed by Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, pledging to mobilise investment and innovation opportunities to accelerate the state’s development trajectory.
Archibong made the declaration during a media parley in Abuja, where he outlined a strategic vision aimed at strengthening investor confidence, enhancing project management standards, and deepening high-level stakeholder engagement for the benefit of Akwa Ibom State.
The initiative, which has also received the backing of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, seeks to consolidate governance reforms and stimulate sustainable economic growth across key sectors of the state’s economy.
Describing Governor Eno’s leadership as inspiring and forward-looking, Archibong pledged unwavering support for the administration’s development blueprint.
“His Excellency’s leadership and vision for Akwa Ibom State is truly inspiring,” he said. “I pledge my full support for the Arise with Renewed Hope mantra and look forward to playing an active role in translating that vision into measurable progress for our people.”
A native of Itiam-Etoi in Uyo Local Government Area, Archibong brings nearly two decades of cross-sector experience spanning media management, public affairs, and strategic communications.
As head of the Chastest Consult team, with operations across Africa, the United Kingdom, and North America, he has advised governments, institutions, and private sector leaders on policy strategy and stakeholder relations.
He said his endorsement of the governor’s initiative is anchored on a practical agenda to position Akwa Ibom as a hub for innovation and disciplined project execution.
According to him, the state has the potential to emerge as one of Nigeria’s most competitive subnational economies if it harnesses structured investment frameworks and nurtures a new generation of project management professionals.
“We want Akwa Ibom to be a benchmark not just in the South-South, but across the entire country for what disciplined governance, innovation, and the right partnerships can achieve,” Archibong stated.
He disclosed that he is actively exploring frameworks to attract both domestic and international investors, with a focus on driving sustainable economic growth, expanding job opportunities, and boosting private sector participation in critical sectors.
Archibong also commended the Secretary to the State Government, Enobong Uwah, for his leadership in organising the recent state congress, describing him as “a gentleman of international repute and the right fit” to support the administration’s policy objectives.
Under Governor Eno’s stewardship, Akwa Ibom State has recorded progress in infrastructure expansion, social welfare initiatives, and educational reforms — developments Archibong said demonstrate the administration’s commitment to inclusive growth and accountable governance.
With his strategic expertise, institutional networks, and global relationships aligned with the Arise with Renewed Hope initiative, Archibong expressed confidence that the state is well-positioned to consolidate gains and accelerate its development agenda in the coming years.
