Princess Chinwe Clara Nwaebili, and she described her as a trailblazer, an accomplished leader, and an inspiration to women across Nigeria.

In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, Amb. Okolie praised the former Speaker for her remarkable contributions to governance, women’s empowerment, and public service, noting that her legacy continues to inspire a new generation of female leaders.

She described Princess Nwaebili as one of the most distinguished female politicians in Anambra State, whose tenure as Speaker between 2011 and 2015 brought stability, maturity, and progressive leadership to the state legislature.

According to him, her emergence as the second female Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly remains a historic milestone in the political history of the state, especially in a political environment traditionally dominated by men.

“Today, we celebrate an exceptional woman, a courageous leader, and a shining example of integrity and excellence. Rt. Hon. Barr. Princess Chinwe Nwaebili has continued to distinguish herself through dedicated service to humanity and her unwavering commitment to the advancement of women in leadership,” she stated.

Amb. Okolie further commended Nwaebili for her unique record as the only Speaker in Anambra State to serve under two governors, former Governor Peter Obi and former Governor Willie Obiano, during her tenure as Speaker of the Assembly.

She also applauded her for her leadership roles beyond the legislature, including serving as President of Female Legislators of State Assemblies and Chairman of the South East Conference of Speakers, positions through which she championed greater inclusion of women in governance and policy-making.

The Excellent Ladies Production founder noted that Nwaebili’s achievements in public office, legal practice, and administration have earned her admiration within and outside Anambra State.

“Her transition from accounting and entrepreneurship into politics, and later into the legal profession as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, reflects resilience, determination, and an uncommon passion for personal growth and service,” she added.

She further praised her contributions while serving in the Anambra State Executive Council as Commissioner for Environment and later Commissioner for Road, Rail and Water Transportation, describing her performance as impactful and visionary.

Amb. Okolie prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, wisdom, and long life for the former Speaker as she celebrates another year.

“As you mark your birthday, may God continue to strengthen you with wisdom, grace, sound health, and greater accomplishments. Your life remains a beacon of hope and inspiration to countless women and young leaders across Nigeria,” the statement concluded.
