UK–Nigeria partnership: Broadcaster Richard Edoki takes centre stage at Tinubu’s state visit reception

A United Kingdom-based Nigerian radio presenter, Richard Edoki, has expressed profound gratitude following his invitation to attend the prestigious UK–Nigeria Partnership Reception, held in honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his State Visit to the United Kingdom.

The high-profile event, hosted as part of the President’s engagement with King Charles III, brought together key stakeholders, community leaders, and members of the Nigerian diaspora to celebrate and reinforce the long-standing relationship between Nigeria and the UK.

The reception was convened under the auspices of UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy, further underscoring the diplomatic importance of the gathering.

Reflecting on the honour, Edoki described the invitation as both humbling and symbolic of the growing recognition of grassroots contributions within diaspora communities.

Edoki, the host of African Vibe With RichyBongo on CHBN Radio, has steadily built a reputation for promoting African heritage and amplifying underrepresented voices.
