50,000 Police recruitment: Kebbi applicants to undergo screening from March 9

Kebbi State Police Command has announced that the physical and credentials screening exercise for applicants in the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force will commence on March 9, 2026, and run until April 18, 2026.

According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Bashir Usman, the screening exercise will begin on March 9, 2026, and end on April 18, 2026.

The Command disclosed that the exercise will take place at the Police Headquarters, Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi, and applicants are expected to appear at the venue on the specific date and time indicated on their individual invitation slips.

Applicants were advised to visit the recruitment portal at npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to check their application status and print the required documents ahead of the screening.

The documents to be presented include the Guarantors Form, Application Submission Slip, Invitation Slip, Credentials Screening Form, and Physical Screening Form.

Candidates are also required to come along with several items for verification, including their invitation slip with the assigned table number, the credential screening form, original National Identity Number (NIN) printout or NIMC card, O’ Level certificate such as GCE or SSCE, birth certificate or declaration of age, and certificate of local government or state of origin.

Specialist applicants are expected to present trade test certificates where applicable, while all candidates must also submit a duly completed and signed guarantors form accompanied by photocopies and passport photographs of their referees.

In addition, applicants are required to bring both the original and duplicate copies of their credentials, neatly arranged in two separate white flat files with recent passport photographs attached.

The Command further directed candidates to appear at the screening venue dressed in white canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts, and white stockings.

The Commissioner of Police in Kebbi State, CP Umar M. Hadejia, assured applicants of adequate security and transparency throughout the screening process, urging them to conduct themselves in an orderly and disciplined manner.

He also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is completely free and does not require any form of payment.

The Command warned applicants to beware of impostors, scammers, and other criminal elements who may attempt to defraud them under the guise of assisting with the recruitment process.

According to the statement, anyone found engaging in such fraudulent activities will be arrested and prosecuted.

The police further emphasized that only candidates who have been officially invited for the screening exercise will be attended to at the venue.
