Wings of collaboration as Air Tanzania launches direct flights to Nigeria

High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to Nigeria, H.E. Selestine Gervas Kakele, has announced plans to establish direct flights between Tanzania and Nigeria.
The development aimed to enhance trade and business relations between the two countries, making business travel and trade logistics easier, faster, and more cost-effective.
The announcement was articulated by Selestine at the 3-day exhibition of Food and Beverage in West Africa for over 6000 visitors and 300 participants in Nigeria.
According to him, they are in the final stage, and the flight is to commence operations within this year.
Tanzania High Commission didn’t just participate as an organisation from the Region, it also promoted varieties of products made in Tanzania.
Celestine at the event reiterated the reason why Tanzanians should leverage the importance of the West African market, especially Nigeria, due to the opportunity of its large population and economic potential.
In the same vein, he urged Tanzanians to participate in various exhibitions in Nigeria to promote products produced in Tanzania.
