Wecass Braun has unveiled groundbreaking solar lighting solutions that promise to transform the way we harness and utilize energy.

With a focus on innovation and sustainability, these cutting-edge technologies are poised to make a significant impact in the renewable energy sector.

Speaking with Journalists in Lagos, Chief Executive Officer, Wecass Braun International, Engr. Andre Braun, the mastermind behind the innovation explained the need for sustainable and future-proof technologies in Nigeria.

He said that the latest lighting and solar technologies were carefully selected to cater to the country’s growing needs.

He further explained that the street lights are remotely monitored and controlled from a central location, adding that the lights can be installed in one city and managed from another.

On the waterproof solar carport, he further said a modular design that can be extended or manufactured in a double-sided orientation, providing a flexible solution for energy generation.

André Braun emphasized the importance of training and customer satisfaction.

“The showroom serves as a practical training venue for employees and students, providing hands-on experience with the latest technologies. The goal is to train enough personnel to open offices in other states, offering the same level of service and expertise across the country”.

“We wanted to create a special place to showcase the latest lighting and solar technologies! Because it is very difficult to find the right products on the world market if you are not an expert, and new ones are added every day. We have taken this time-consuming work off your hands and show you, dear guests, the latest technology in this unique place.

“For example, our street lights, which are installed in one city and can be monitored and switched from another city in a control room. Nigeria needs the latest and most sustainable technologies. These must be future-proof for an emerging and growing nation. We want customers and infrastructure programmes across Nigeria to rely on sustainable and future-proof products. That’s why we want our work to help them choose first-class and long-lasting products”, he said.

According to him, they have their waterproof solar carport

“This is a sample and can be extended in modular design. This can be extended or even manufactured in a double-sided orientation. Or our great historical lights over there, with the latest LED technology. You never have to replace the LEDs, just like with these beautiful bollard lights. Our battery cabinets with integrated inverters are compact and long-lasting. We will be happy to show you more later during small guided tours.

“I am convinced that this open showroom will be well received. Because customers are often overwhelmed by the huge range of solar and lighting technology, we are showing outstanding products here in Lagos. It is therefore unnecessary to travel to completely overcrowded trade fairs to visit overstretched and stressed exhibitors abroad. Here we take the time to talk about your projects and find the perfect solution together. Everything from a single source, including installation, is precisely tailored to your project. Be it energy supply or lighting or something completely different.

I was lucky enough to have completed my training in several electrical and electronic professions in Germany. After that, I trained as a master electrician. We want to provide our employees and other people with similar training here. Just like in Germany, we will carry out the theoretical part of the training in our training room next door. And the special thing about our open showroom is that it also serves as a practical venue for our employees and students. The practical part is taught on the exhibits. This means that our customers can rely on us to act professionally even when problems arise.

” As the German proverb says, the customer is king. Our goal is to train enough people to open offices in other states to offer the same service in other parts of the country. This will be the headquarters to provide further support. Everything is for the satisfaction of our customers. So that the investments made are sustainable and long-lasting! We want to earn your trust and we have,” he assured.

In his remarks, Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Forster Onyeka Edward, said, “We’re in Nigeria because of a special vision we share. My best friend, Andre, and I have spent almost three years brainstorming in his office, determined to create something that would move not only Nigeria but Africa forward. We believe Nigeria can take the lead, and we want to support that.”

“The catalyst for this vision was a significant event. In 2021, a major attack on a critical infrastructure crippled the global power grid, affecting millions. When the attack occurred, 13 systems were targeted, and seven went down, causing widespread disruptions. This incident sparked an idea to develop innovative solutions to prevent such crises in the future.”

“Dell, a technology leader, recruited engineers from around the world to work on a project to replace vulnerable systems. With experts in America, Thailand, and other locations, the team aimed to create cutting-edge technology that would enhance resilience and efficiency.”

“The goal of Wecass Braun is to empower Nigeria and Africa with innovative solutions that drive progress and sustainability. By harnessing local talent and global expertise, we can create a brighter future for the region,” he further assured.
