Warri Federal Constituency: Sheriff Mulade secures NDC ticket, vows responsive representation

Winner of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) primary election for Warri Federal Constituency, Chief (Comrade) Sheriff Mulade, has dedicated his victory to God Almighty and expressed profound appreciation to party delegates, supporters, and constituents whose support secured his emergence as the party’s flag bearer.

Mulade, an environmental rights activist and renowned peace advocate, emerged victorious in the keenly contested primary election held on Friday in Delta State, earning the mandate to represent the party in the forthcoming general election.

In a statement personally signed and made available to journalists, the NDC candidate described the outcome of the primary election as a clear demonstration of the confidence, trust, and acceptance reposed in him by the people of Warri Federal Constituency.

Mulade further stressed the need for unity and peaceful coexistence among the three major ethnic nationalities that make up the constituency—the Ijaw, Itsekiri, and Urhobo—emphasizing that sustainable progress can only be achieved through cooperation, mutual respect, and inclusiveness.
