Trippers by Bidaymi, partners launch “Sweat to wealth” documentary project in Lagos

Trippers by Bidaymi AMA Nigeria, in collaboration with the YALI Network Lagos, Phoenix Enter10ment, Grow with Mo, and TEGA, has announced a three-day documentary project titled “Sweat to Wealth,” scheduled to take place from March 23rd to 26th, 2026, in Lagos.

The initiative, inspired by the research of Adeyemi Oluwabunmi, is designed to explore the critical link between hard work, culture, tourism, and community-driven economic growth. It will document real-life stories from local communities, shedding light on the resilience, creativity, and enterprise that exist within grassroots environments across the state.

According to the organisers, the “Sweat to Wealth” project seeks to go beyond storytelling by highlighting the economic potential embedded in cultural heritage and everyday livelihoods.

By capturing authentic experiences, the documentary aims to showcase how local industries and traditions can serve as catalysts for sustainable development.

The project will also serve as a platform to amplify the voices of community members, promote tourism awareness, and encourage deeper engagement from young people, researchers, policymakers, and investors.

Organisers believe that by drawing attention to these often-overlooked opportunities, the initiative can inspire meaningful investments and partnerships that will benefit local economies.

In addition, the organisers have called for support from Mobility and Logistics Partners, as well as Audio Studio Partners, to ensure the smooth execution and high-quality production of the documentary.

They emphasised that collaborative efforts remain key to achieving the project’s vision of preserving culture, driving impactful storytelling, and advancing tourism development in Lagos State.

With a strong coalition of partners and a clear focus on community impact, “Sweat to Wealth” is poised to become a compelling narrative that celebrates hard work while unlocking new pathways for economic growth and cultural preservation.
