Tinubu-led government:  Nigerians  not interested in outlandish economic concepts

Hon .Emma Chidi Ofoegbu

Before I start saying what I had in mind, I am led to explain my background, so that the supporters of this present government, and beneficiaries of the sufferings of Nigerian citizens, will not say I am opposing the All Progressive Congress (APC) government because Peter Obi, who won the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria was not declared president by Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu, the corrupt and compromised Independent National Electoral Commission  (INEC) Chairman.

To start with I believe in results not excuses and by extension, the party I have supported and will support always is a party that presented candidates that have histories of verifiable and visible performances in private or public office /life.

The obidients saw that in Peter Obi, and they came out in their millions from the East, West, North, and South to vote for him, to enable him to make Nigeria a better place. He won the 2023 presidential election; The conspiracy by Mohammad Buhari and Mahmoud Yakubu to declare Bola Tinubu, the president against Peter Obi who won based on the field reports ( polling units) results, does not in any way diminish that fact. Because the action of Mahmoud Yakubu can’t utter the history of the ‘epoch event ‘of the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria.

That fact will stand forever.

I have had the opportunity to take Government, Economics, and Commerce in secondary school. On my first attempts, I had As in those three subjects.

That shows I have a basic and primary background to know what I want to talk about now.

In the university, Government is one of the combined courses I read in my first degree. In my Master’s degree, I read international relations and strategic studies. I have been offered a Ph.D. in international relations…and many more, including being a researcher and writer.

It also means, at a higher academic platform, I have paid money to go and learn how the international economic, political, and social systems work, to enable me to explore and expose the problems with the African system, with Nigeria as a very bad case study.

Why are people in Nigeria suffering in an ocean of abundance and wealth?

Two things are at work, and the ‘cosmetic ‘.They were deliberately designed by a very toxic entity to achieve both personal and parochial purposes. Because there is no reason for what is going on in Nigeria to continue to fester and negatively flourish.

Don’t we have the resources? Don’t we have the manpower? Don’t we have the landmass, Don’t we have access to the gifts of nature? We have all these in excess; then what is the problem with those who are parading themselves as Leaders, and take pleasure in celebrating failings and advertising excuses?

Madubunjoala ( Madu bu njo ala), is an Igbo name that means – Man is the problem of the world.

Man is the problem of Africa, not that we don’t have the resources, manpower, and space, to develop like America and other advanced economies.

Citizens of Nigeria are not interested in the outlandish and imported economic and political concepts, our governments are importing from anywhere they can locate it. What people in different locations in Nigeria want to hear is that things are now cheaper in the market.

Please let these stories of deception stop in Nigeria.
