Nigeria Police Force, in association with security experts and the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP), is set to host the general public at the launch of a commemorative publication, ” Readings in Policing, Peace and Security” a Festschrift in honour of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.
According to the Force Police Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, celebrating the exemplary leadership and contributions of the Inspector-General of Police to peace, security, and policing in Nigeria.
This prestigious publication features insightful contributions from renowned scholars, practitioners, and stakeholders in the field of peace, security, and humanitarian studies.
The book highlights the IGP’s visionary leadership, innovative policing strategies, and commitment to community engagement.
The ceremony, which has the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as the Special Guest of Honour, will bring together dignitaries, security experts, academics, and stakeholders to celebrate the IGP’s achievements and reflect on the future of policing in Nigeria.
