Founder, ehovah Eye Salvation Ministry and member, All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC), Prophet Dr. Godwin lkuru, has resigned his membership with the ruling party, alleging oppression, and harassment.

Speaking with The Mirror Newspaper, the man of God, who was a strong supporter of the President, Sen. Ahmad Bola Tinubu and the party, noted that he never missed a day praying for the country and President, especially during his time in Texas, USA.

“However, over the past three to four months, I have been subjected to intimidation and harassment by individuals associated with the President. Despite my loyalty and support, I have been treated unfairly, and this has led me to reevaluate my position.

“As a prophet, I am not an ordinary man, and I have decided to quit the APC due to these experiences. I have also stopped praying for the party and its interests. As a man of God, I trust only in divine guidance and protection.

“I have faced numerous challenges, including threats to my life, particularly during my travels with the President in Texas. I have always sought to use my gifts to promote positivity and good, but the actions of some individuals associated with the President have made it difficult for me to continue my support”, he lamented.

He assured Nigerians that he will always respect the government and the APC, but he will no longer be part of a system that he believes is oppressing him.

The presidency’s aides mentioned in his N5bn lawsuit are, ASP Kamorudeen Olawale Yusuf; The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun; Barrister Mrs. Abibat Bankole and DCP Akin Fakorede, Head of IGP Monitoring Unit.

The lawsuit alleged his fundamental human rights violations and seeks damages for the alleged offenses.
