Primate Ayodele refuses to back down on Osimhen contract remarks, says people who feel offended to talk to God

Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said that he is unapologetic over his comments regarding Victor Osimhen’s contract with Galatasaray.

He said those who found his comment offensive should talk to God, as he was not the originator.

He added that he would not retract his comment because it is the mind of God.

Primate Ayodele took the stand while speaking to sports journalists in Lagos on Tuesday.

He maintained that in four years, Osimhen would not shine in Galatasaray.

He said Osimhe should have signed a two-year contract, after all, he is not going there to retire.

Primate Ayodele said that very soon, new professionals and stars would emerge in Nigeria.

Primate Ayodele revealed prophetically that Nigeria would soon rule Africa again in the field of football, if only the football authorities work together.

Primate Ayodele stated, “Irrespective of internet heat, internet petition, internet comments, and all that, Osimhe must watch his back.

“Four years at Galatasaray is much, he will not shine.

“They will outshine him, let him try, he can’t sustain four years. First two years, fine, but four years, no no no.

“He is not going there to retire now, there are going to be issues with the club, I am not apologetic about anything, that is the way the lord says it.

“Whatever the lord says is not my making, it is not my headache, they are not God.

“If they are angry, let them go and sue God, let them go and fight God, let them to go and petition. But it is up to Osimhe.

“However, new professionals, new stars are coming up.

“Nigeria is about leading Africa in the field of football if only the necessary authorities work hand in hand,” Primate Ayodele stated
