A member of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and General Overseer of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, Prophet Dr. Godwin Ikuru, has urged President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to sack all his ministers as an independence celebration gift to Nigerians due to their non-performance.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos yesterday, Prophet Ikuru stated that the non-performance of the ministers has severely affected the administration of the ruling party, leading to hardship in the country.
He described President Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, as a great and performing leader, but criticized his appointment of arrogant, selfish, and proud individuals as ministers.
While some Nigerians celebrate the country’s ability to remain a single entity despite ethnic and tribal issues, Prophet Ikuru sees no reason to celebrate.
According to him, President Tinubu’s government, intended to bring hope to Nigerians, has been hijacked by corrupt, non-performing, and arrogant ministers who compound the miseries of Nigerians.
“This is my government; I worked and fought for it,” Prophet Ikuru emphasized.
“The President has genuine intentions to make Nigeria great, but he surrounded himself with enemies who do not intend to help his government.”
To make Nigerians happy and ensure the nation’s progress, Prophet Ikuru insisted that President Tinubu must sack all cabinet members and appoint genuine individuals to help him.
He criticized the Minister of Works for squandering resources on the Lagos-Calabar Highway instead of repairing existing infrastructure.
Prophet Ikuru advised President Tinubu not to forget the Presidential Campaign Council members who supported his ambition.
He lamented that those who do not believe in the President’s vision hold power and seek to undermine him.
