Over 1,000 residents benefit from Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA’s free medical services

In a remarkable display of community commitment, Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) partnered with Eko Club International to conduct a free medical mission for over 1,000 residents, including children.

According to the Chief Press Secretary
Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Areh AbdulHamid, the medical mission, offered comprehensive health services, including dental care, medicated eye glasses, and treatments for common ailments.

Residents benefited from teeth polishing and extraction, and were screened for conditions like Malaria, Diabetes, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), Prostrate, and Cervical Cancer.

This outreach marked the third day and third community visited by Eko Club International as part of their 2024 Medical Outreach program.

Eko Club International President, Mr. Saheed Olusi, emphasized the organization’s dedication to uplifting healthcare standards for Lagosians, particularly those lacking access to essential health services.

This mission is part of our long-term commitment to providing healthcare to the people of Lagos,” Mr. Olusi noted.

Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, expressed gratitude to Eko Club International, highlighting the impact of partnerships in delivering accessible and quality healthcare to residents.

The Elejinrin of Ejinrin Kingdom, HRM Oba Rafiu Ishola Babatunde Balogun, praised both organizations for their collaborative efforts.

This partnership is one of several initiatives addressing critical healthcare needs within Lagos communities.

Eko Club International has made it a priority to give back to their homeland through healthcare and social initiatives.
