Ojokoro legislative arm inspects ongoing projects by Chairman HID Tijani

Ojokoro legislative arm recently conducted an inspection and oversight function of the ongoing projects initiated by the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Hammed Idowu Tijani (HID), Led by the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Tunde Oyekunle, along with other distinguished legislators as the team meticulously assessed the construction activities across the seven wards within the council.
According to the Chief Press Secretary,Ojokoro LCDA, Mr. Razaq Yekinni, Hon. Oyekunle praised the council chairman for his unwavering commitment to ensuring that development is evenly distributed across all wards.
He urged community members to take full advantage of the new infrastructure, particularly the drainage systems, once the projects are completed and handed over.
“These projects are your assets—take ownership and protect them. You will continue to benefit from these facilities as long as you care for them like your own child,” Oyekunle emphasized.
In his own words the Chairman of the House Committee on Works, Hon. Dauda Maruf, encouraged the Engineering Department to maintain close oversight of the contractors to ensure the highest standards of service delivery to the community.
The areas visited during the inspection include Anifowose Street, Olusola Street, Ibrahim Street, Oyedeji Street, Olaitan Mustapha Close, Musbau Oseni Street, Michael Ajibote Street, Church Street, among others.
The legislative arm’s visit affirms the council’s commitment to transparency and accountability in all the council boss’ developmental initiatives and ensuring that all projects meet the needs and expectations of the residents.
