Speaking during the inauguration of the event planning Committee, Hon Kayceey expressed gratitude to God, his cabinet and everyone who has sacrificed in one way or the other in ensuring that there is peace within the Igbos living in the State.

He pledged his continuous support towards the leadership of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo in Akwa Ibom State.
Responding on behalf of the steering committee, the Deputy President, who also doubles as the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Chief Ogbonna Ukachukwu, thanked the President and everyone for finding them worthy to execute this historical responsibility and promised to ensure that the Committees deliver on the mandates given to them.
He advised that every hand must be on deck to achieve the desired result.
There were Goodwill messages from the immediate Past President of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Akwa Ibom State, Chief Barr. C. C. Osuagwu, who also expressed his happiness for the achievement of Peace and unity amongst the various factions and promised to support Ohaneze during and after the event.
