NUMTEN President, Comrade Chukwuma, honoured as ‘Hero of Our Time’

In a resounding recognition of his dedication to labour leadership and the empowerment of market traders across Nigeria, Comrade James Ogu Chukwuma, National President of the National Union of Market Traders Employers of Nigeria (NUMTEN), has been conferred with The Mirror Newspaper Excellence Award for Heroes of Our Time.

Under Comrade Chukwuma’s visionary leadership, NUMTEN has emerged as a formidable voice advocating for the rights, welfare, and dignity of market traders, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed in policy dialogues and labour negotiations.
