Nigeria’s insecurity crisis: Pastor Schugger calls for drastic action

The recent massacres in Plateau and Benue states have brought the issue of insecurity in Nigeria to a boiling point.

President of Grace Revolution International Ministry, Pastor Schugger Ezenwa Onyeukwu has expressed deep concern over the escalating violence and bloodshed in the country.

In a press conference held in Lagos, Pastor Schugger implored the government to take drastic measures to stop the incessant killings.

According to Pastor Schugger, the situation has become “alarming and excruciating,” with innocent lives being lost regularly.

He attributed the persistence of these attacks to the lack of grave action taken against the perpetrators.

“It’s intensely painful when assailants invade communities, and farmlands, and slaughter everyone they see around without anything being done to the attackers,” he lamented.

To curb this menace, Pastor Schugger recommended capital punishment for those found guilty of these heinous acts.

He believes this would serve as a deterrent to potential attackers and bring an end to the senseless killings.

Additionally, he called for security operatives to be improved and equipped to meet the challenges posed by these attacks.

Pastor Schugger’s plea to the government is a clarion call for urgent action to address the security crisis in Nigeria.

The government must take concrete steps to protect its citizens and hold those responsible for these atrocities accountable.

The Nigerian people deserve a safe and secure environment, and it’s the government’s responsibility to ensure it.
