New Era begins at Federal University of Agricultural Zuru, as Prof. Rakson emerges Vice Chancellor

Governing Board of the Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru, has approved the appointment of Prof. Ibrahim Rakson Muhammad as the Vice Chancellor of the university for a five-year tenure.
The development marks a significant milestone for the institution, and Prof. Muhammad’s leadership is expected to shape the university’s future growth and academic excellence
Briefing newsmen at the university in Zuru, the Council Secretary and Registrar, Abdulaziz Yusuf Bazata, stated that the Governing Board conducted interviews for the vacant position, and based on the results, Prof. Ibrahim Rakson Muhammad emerged as the Vice Chancellor.
He noted that Prof. Ibrahim, a Professor of Animal Science, has over 30 years of academic experience and has been part of the university system for more than three decades.
Before his appointment, he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the university.
In another development, the university has also appointed Mr. Abdulrasheed Atanda Ahmed as the University Bursar.
According to Bazata, Mr. Abdulrasheed Atanda previously served as the Deputy Bursar at the University of Ilorin and has over 30 years of experience in accounting.
He wished both appointees a fruitful and successful tenure.
