NDLEA Spokesman Babafemi bags Mirror Newspaper “Heroes of Our Time” Award

Director, Media and Advocacy, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Femi Babafemi, has been named a recipient of the prestigious Mirror Newspaper Excellence Award for Heroes of Our Time, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to public communication and the fight against drug abuse in Nigeria.

The award, conferred by The Mirror Newspaper, is designed to honour individuals whose dedication to service, professionalism, and leadership has made a significant impact in their respective fields while contributing to national development.

In a formal letter announcing his selection, the Editorial Board of the newspaper commended Babafemi for his exceptional role in shaping public discourse around drug control and prevention, noting that his strategic use of media and advocacy has strengthened public awareness and deepened understanding of the dangers associated with substance abuse.
