NAOWA President commission block of 12 classrooms at Minna military cantonment

President Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA), Mrs Salamatu Yahaya, has commissioned a block of 12 classrooms at Minna Military Cantonment.
In her keynote remarks, the President NAOWA stated that barely 14 months ago, the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of the NAOWA Nursery and Primary School was conducted by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Faruq Yahaya and she was pleased to be in the Cantonment for commissioning of the NAOWA School.
She applauded the Coordinator NAOWA TRADOC Chapter Mrs. Elizabeth Yemisi Olabanji for a job well done for establishing a structural Legacy for the benefit of children in the barrack and environs.
The NAOWA President mentioned that the establishment of the school signified that the Coordinator was in line with her vision of “Sustaining Legacies and Upholding the Tenets of Unity and Service.”
Earlier in her remarks, the Coordinator NAOWA TRADOC Chapter Mrs Elizabeth Yemisi Olabanji stated that the zeal to embark on the project was out of the selfless commitment and exemplary leadership style of the NAOWA President that gave her the motivation.
Highpoints of the commissioning ceremony include the presentation of the award of Excellence to Mrs Elizabeth Yemisi Olabanji by the President NAOWA. Others include a tour of the school facilities, donation of items to the Teachers and school, cultural dance, charity outreach to widows and group photographs.
