Methodist Theological Institute Sagamu TMM Students Assembly elects New Executives

Methodist Theological Institute Sagamu, Tent Making Ministry (TMM) Students Assembly have elected it’s 2024/2025 new executives members in Sagamu, Ogun State.

The new executives are, Bro. Semako Kuton (Badagry Diocese) as President; Bro. John Efiong (Igbobini Diocese) as Vice President, and Bro. Olaide Adebayo (Abuja Diocese) as Secretary -General.

Other elected are, Sis. Abosede Ige (Elekuro Diocese) Treasurer; Bro. Richard Akinwonmi (Idanre Diocese) Financial Secretary; Bro. Stanley Ihedigbo (Lagos North Diocese)Public Relations Officer; Bro. Ademola Ogunyemi (Trinity Diocese) Father of the College; Sis. Elizabeth Adepoju (Ogbomosho Diocese) Mother of the College, and Officer in Charge of Chapel, Sis. Omolola Haastrup.

The election was supervised by the Director, Students Affairs, Very Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Alamu, President of Students Assembly TMM Executive, Bro. Oluseyi Ayeni; Secretary -General, Bro. Folusho ogunfunwa; Vice President, Bro. Solomon Asogba; Father of the College, Bro. John Ogwuche and Mother of the College, Sis. Uduak Out as well as Officer in Charge of Chapel, Sis. Elizabeth Kojah.

The Institute was established for the training of Lay Pastoral agents for the Church both male and female.

It also includes the training of Lay Preachers, Sunday School Teachers, Youth Leaders and other Church Leaders.

In 1993 Conference, the Conference upgraded it to the status of Ministerial training for the Word and Sacrament with the awarding of Diploma in Theology.

Since then, it has developed in significantly.
