Men Arise unto Greater Service as Diocese of Lagos North Men’s Fellowship elects new officers

The 14th Annual Diocese of Lagos North Men’s Fellowship, Methodist Church Nigeria Conference, was a resounding success, marking a significant milestone in the history of the fellowship.

The conference, themed “Men Arise unto Greater Service,” brought together men from across the diocese for a time of spiritual renewal, brotherhood, and a prophetic call to greater responsibility.

According to the fellowship, Public Relations Officer (PRO), Bro. Rotimi Bailey under the able guidance of the Diocesan leadership, the conference saw the election of new officers, who were chosen through a transparent and fair process.

The newly elected officers, led by Sir Seyi Otegbade as President, were dedicated to serving and taking the fellowship to greater heights.

The conference was a time of great celebration and anticipation, as men came together to worship, fellowship, and chart a new course for the fellowship.

The theme of the conference served as a reminder to men of their divine mandate to arise and take their rightful place in the church and society.

As the new officers take up their positions, they are tasked with the responsibility of nurturing men spiritually, strengthening them socially, and empowering them morally.

The fellowship aimed to raise prayerful and faithful leaders in homes, churches, and communities who will uphold truth, integrity, and righteousness.

The outgoing president, Evang. Anietie Bassey handed over to the new leadership, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the history of the fellowship.

The new leadership is expected to work together with all members across local churches and circuits in the diocese to achieve the fellowship’s goals.

The conference concluded with a call to all members to unite, support, and cooperate with the new executive officers.

The journey ahead demands collective prayers, active involvement, and total commitment.

By working together, sharing ideas, and embracing innovations, the fellowship aimed to build stronger fellowships that will positively impact the diocese and beyond.

As the new officers embark on their journey, they are prayed for wisdom, humility, and divine strength.

All members are also prayed for the grace to follow faithfully in love and obedience, so that God’s name will be glorified in all that they do.

The Men’s Fellowship is indeed serving the Lord, and with this new leadership, they are poised to take the fellowship to greater heights.

At this historic conference, through the leading of the Holy Spirit and the supervision of the Diocesan leadership, the election was conducted under the able guidance of the Diocesan Lay President, Sir Dotun Somoye; Synod Secretary, Very Rev. Ade Ademilua; Men’s Fellowship Coordinator, Very Rev. Toyin Ogundeyi, Outgoing President, Evang. Bassey, Former President, Sir Adeyemi and Election Chairman, Sir Kunle Whenu and other respected leaders who ensured due process, transparency, and fairness.

Following the process, a new set of leaders was chosen and dedicated to serving.

Other elected officers are: Bro. Kingsley Onuh, Vice President; Rev. Moses Fatola, General Secretary; Rev. Stanley Ihedigbo, Assistant General Secretary; Bro. Nwachukwu Igbokwe, Treasurer; Bro. Atanda Kunle Benjamin, Financial Secretary; Bro. Rotimi Bailey, Public Relations Officer (PRO); Bro. Segun Odejimi, Welfare Officer I; Bro. Simon Adadevoh, Welfare Officer II; Bro. Femi Osundosunmu, Auditor and Bro. Bassey Anietie Ex-Officio.
