Marte Operation: NAF targets ISWAP supply depots, eliminates top commander

Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has dealt a significant blow to Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists in Marte Local Government Area, conducting a series of precision air strikes on October 31, 2024.
The targeted villages – Tumbun Daribiyar, Jubularam, Buluwa, and Tumbu Karfe – were known ISWAP strongholds.
According to the Director Public Relations and Information, Headquarters, Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Olusola Akinboyewa, approximately 50 terrorists, including high-ranking commander Bashir Dauda, were neutralized in the operation.
A critical supply depot in Jubularam was also destroyed, cutting off essential resources for the terrorists.
The NAF’s successful air strikes demonstrated its commitment to supporting ground forces and combating terrorism in Nigeria’s Northeast.
The operation was part of the ongoing efforts to decimate terrorist strongholds in the region.
Similar successful air strikes have been conducted in other regions, including Kaduna and Niger States, where terrorists have been neutralized and their logistics disrupted.
The operations underscore the NAF’s dedication to ensuring national security.
