MediaConsortium CSR Impact and Excellence Conference is set to hold on May 15, 2026, at the Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Ikeja, Lagos, with seasoned sustainability professionals, Head of HoldCo Risk, Sustainability & Capital Management at Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc, Tosin Leye-Odeyemi, and Group Sustainability Lead at EverCorp Industries, Adewole Lawal, delivering the keynote addresses.
The second edition of the conference, organized by MediaConsortium, a leading business, brands, and marketing publication, carries the theme: “Beyond profit: Redefining success through CSR & sustainability”. It aims to deepen conversations around Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability, highlighting how organizations can leverage these frameworks for both societal and organizational growth.
The event will also recognize outstanding individuals and organizations making tangible impacts within society.
Tosin Leye-Odeyemi brings over two decades of experience spanning governance, capital management, and sustainability. Since joining Stanbic IBTC Group in 2002, she has held leadership roles across Internal Control, Compliance, Investment Management, Finance, and People & Culture. In her current role, she leads the Risk, Capital Management, and Sustainability teams, driving governance, operational efficiency, and value-led decision-making. She holds an Executive MBA from Lagos Business School and is a Fellow of ICAN and an FSA credential holder.
Adewole Lawal, a sustainability expert with over 13 years of experience, has provided guidance to organizations across financial services, oil and gas, FMCG, agriculture, telecommunications, and energy sectors.
He has deep expertise in ESG standards and frameworks, including IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, UN SDGs, and GRI reporting standards. As Group Sustainability Lead at EverCorp Industries, Lawal supports subsidiaries across Energy, Financial, and Food & Beverage sectors in their sustainability journey.
He holds multiple professional certifications, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 31000, and GRCP, alongside academic accolades including Commonwealth Scholarships, an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership, and degrees from the University of Ibadan and the University of Sheffield.
Their keynote presentations will form the foundation for a panel discussion featuring distinguished experts in the field, exploring actionable strategies for organizations to integrate CSR and sustainability into core business operations.
