Lagos West Senatorial aspirant, and All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain, High Chief Nicholas Adekunle Chidiebere Ajayi, has continued his political consultations and alliance-building efforts with a strategic visit to a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Shina Oyedeji.
Ajayi, who described the visit as part of his broader “political engineering” agenda, said he was warmly received by Oyedeji, whom he referred to as a “childhood Aluta machine” from their early activism and political engagement days.
Speaking after the meeting, Ajayi noted that the reunion was not only emotional but symbolic, as both leaders revisited old memories of their youthful advocacy and shared passion for a more prosperous Nigeria.
He said the encounter strengthened their conviction that collaborative leadership remains vital for national development.
“We relieved old memories and renewed our commitment toward building a better nation,” Ajayi said.
“Nigeria must be great again, and this can only be achieved when leaders come together with sincerity, vision, and a shared purpose.”
He emphasized that his senatorial aspiration is built on principles of inclusiveness, partnership, and pragmatic political engagement, adding that his visit to Hon. Oyedeji aligns with ongoing consultations aimed at forming stronger political relationships across Lagos West and beyond.
Hon. Oyedeji, who expressed delight at the visit, commended Ajayi’s dedication and reaffirmed the need for collective efforts to restore hope and deliver good governance to Nigerians.
The meeting is seen by observers as part of the widening engagement by Ajayi as he consolidates political alliances ahead of the 2027 electoral season.
