Lagos intensifies crackdown on unauthorised structures, dismantles Shanty clinic

The enforcement operation brought together personnel from the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), the Lagos State Taskforce and the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), in a coordinated effort aimed at bringing activities at the facility to an end.

The operation followed consultations between the Corps Marshal and representatives of the participating agencies, after which Major Cole directed that the patient be removed from the makeshift facility and that the structure be dismantled.
