Kano State Governor revamps administration with new appointments, reassignments

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved new appointments and redeployed some Heads of Agencies and Special Advisers.
According to a statement issued by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the appointments and reassignments take immediate effect.
The newly appointed individuals include Dr. Ibrahim Musa, a renowned public health expert and hematologist, who will serve as Special Adviser on Health Services and Personal Physician to the Governor.
Other notable appointees include popular Kannywood actor Sani Musa Danja, who will serve as Special Adviser on Youth and Sports.
Others are, Dr. Ibrahim Musa, Special Adviser, Health Services, and Personal Physician to the Governor; Dr. Hadiza Lawan Ahmad, Special Adviser, Investment and Public-Private Partnership; Sani Musa Danja, Special Adviser, Youth and Sports; Barr. Aminu Hussain, Special Adviser, Justice/Constitutional Matters, and Dr. Ismail Lawan Suleiman, Special Adviser, Population.
The Governor has also reassigned several political office holders, including Hon. Kabiru Getso Haruna, who will now serve as Executive Secretary of the State Scholarship Board.
