Founder of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, Prophet Godwin Ikuru, has demanded a public apology fromĀ Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye, for calling Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, General Overseer of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries (CMDM), a fake.
Prophet Ikuru described NAFDAC’s statement as “insulting, denigrating, derogatory, and totally unacceptable,” emphasizing that the agency lacks the power to regulate the activities of clergymen.
He warned that if Prof. Adeyeye fails to apologize, he will lead a nationwide protest of men of God across the 36 states of the federation.
“NAFDAC should focus on addressing the proliferation of fake products, drugs, drinks, and food that are harming Nigerians, rather than meddling in spiritual matters,” Prophet Ikuru said.
He praised President Bola Tinubu for his respect and support for different religions, adding that he has been praying for the president’s government and policies.
It will be recalled that the NAFDACās Director General,Ā alerted Nigerians to the activities of a faith-based organisation, Christ Mercy Land Delivery Ministries, led by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, using the agencyās name to deceive the unsuspecting public
She said none of the products (Miracle & Healing Water, River Jordan Water, among others were registered with NAFDAC, advising the public to stop patronising any of the miracle products.
